MEET
HANNAH UBL

WORKING WITH HANNAH

From the age of 13, Hannah has had a passion for shifting mindsets through research and entertainment.

While it began with her attempt to convince a classroom of 7th graders that SuperTarget was indeed, not the new construction her hometown needed, she found that relating to an audience on stage felt like home.

She has spent nearly her entire professional career routing that passion for storytelling through keynote presentations and workshops to help people navigate workplace challenges and realize their potential to change work for the better.

A data nerd at heart, Hannah is motivated to find the root of her clients’ challenges, whether they be about recruitment, retention, burnout, or how managers can prepare for the new wave of Gen Z talent. Whether it’s digging into the latest report, searching for themes from hundreds of conversations, or running her own research project, you can guarantee that her insights will be thoroughly vetted and, of course, mixed with fun, entertainment, and a heavy dose of the latest trends.

THE SECRET SAUCE

If there is one person in a room you can be honest and vulnerable with, it’s Hannah.

The message “feelings are not for work” just never resonated with her, but she tried for years to turn off her empathetic approach. Now, she understands that this ability to meet people where they are at is what makes her connect so well with an audience.

She works to understand how her clients, their business, and teams are doing (like, really doing) so she can provide solutions that will actually be put into practice. She takes the role seriously and wants to create an experience where audience members are entertained and learn, but also where they feel seen and heard.

ON A HUMAN LEVEL

Hannah values connection and relationships in her life above all else, often filling her days with quality coffee time with her partner, Facetimes with friends who live across the country (maybe they needed to flee the MN weather!), and walks around the Minneapolis lakes with her pup Artemis D’Artagnan.

Second to relationships is her desire for adventures, large and small, whether that’s seeing the latest exhibit at local art museums, trekking through the outdoors, or trying to play Dungeons and Dragons with her enthusiastically nerdy friends. Any good friend of Hannah will tell you that she is an onion; there are oh-so-many layers.

HANNAH WAS FANTASTIC

… AND DID A WONDERFUL JOB TYING TOGETHER ALL OF THE CONVERSATIONS AND VIEWPOINTS THAT SHE HAD WITH [OUR] EMPLOYEES TO MAKE THE TALK VERY POINTED AND TAILORED.

I have received nothing but positive feedback and think there are a lot of tangible tips and tricks that we’re going to try to put on paper for our employees.
